Trinity Lutheran School has been an educational cornerstone of the Wausau community for over 100 years.

In a world of instant messaging, on-demand movies, and immediate gratification, we know that deeply-rooted longevity is an asset to be carefully cultivated and meticulously maintained.

On November 6, 2010, Trinity School will be hosting the Leave a Legacy Benefit Auction. This adult-only event will be held at the Stoney Creek Inn/Northwoods Conference Center in Rothschild and will consist of an exquisite meal, a silent auction, and a live auction. Coupled with unique and hard-to-find items and experiences, our steering team is prayerful that we will meet our fundraising goals. Proceeds from this event will be used to expand curriculum and to upgrade current hardware and software that all Trinity students utilize during their learning experience.

We need faithful members with ties to local businesses to help us secure unique products and outstanding services that can't be found at the local big-box retailers. Successful auctions offer items such as cottage rentals, tickets to local and out-of-town sporting events, and hand-crafted items such as quilts and jewelry. Cash donations to help offset auction start-up costs are also needed.

To help with our kickoff, the Leave a Legacy Leaf Campaign to support Trinity Lutheran School will begin on February 27 and 28. For only $5, this is one of several opportunities to rally behind the upcoming Legacy Auction. Simply buy a leaf, write a name on it, and hang it on one of our Legacy Tree posters for all to see. Posters will be present outside the Upper Sanctuary and the Spiritual Life Center. The name you write on the leaf can be anyone who has been touched by Trinity Lutheran School. You can honor a loved one, a current student, or your own family. We are all part of this legacy. In addition to honoring those past and present, our goal is to cover the walls with leaves as a way to show our enthusiasm for Trinity, this school that we love. Spring is coming and the leaves will be popping out on our Legacy Tree!
